Black Ice Kennels^® offers quality Siberian Husky puppies from top Lines at affordable prices!  We begin with beautiful and healthy parents from winning bloodlines - all having champion lineage and many having champion parents.

Why choose to breed from Champion lines?  The Siberian Husky can be predisposed to cataracts and (occasionally) hip dysplasia.  Siberian Huskies have a long life expectancy with some living up to 15 years old!  (We still have our first Siberian Husky "Misty" who was born in 1993).  Siberian Husky owners who show their dogs are known to take greater care in screening for common health problems as well as looking for great markings, smooth movement and outstanding conformation.

Black Ice Kennels^® is interested in promoting health, longevity and the continuance of high quality Siberian Husky breed standards.  We have all potential parents screened for health problems (such as hip dysplasia) by a professional Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) prior to breeding.  Most also have their hips OFA screened and their eyes CERF screened for cataracts. 

Black Ice Kennels^® breeds for quality and not quantity in our Siberian Huskies - so we do not always have puppies available.  However, we have very reasonable terms for puppy purchase.  And are not looking to promote exclusivity or burden new owners with cumbersome or complicated contracts, we simply want to place our puppies in good pet homes that will give them the care and love they deserve.
